Ulm Grotesk is a family of geometric-style fonts for use at display sizes. Its design is so simplified that it feels quite futuristic. There are five weights on offer, ranging from Light to Extra Bold. The characters have been drawn with optically-monolinear strokes. The capital letters contain quite a lot of character; some of them are markant, too. The J, for instance, is very wide. The fonts default Q separates the O stroke from the tail visibly; a more traditional-looking Q is available as an alternate.

The forms of the capital A, V, W, and Y are reminiscent of the worm logo that was used by NASA in the 1970s and 80s.

The lowercase m, n, r, and u are spurless. The high-modernist geometric style of the a, b, and c call Paul Rands iconic ABC logo to mind.

The tail of the j is a simple, vertical stroke. The g and the y each have wide, sweeping tails although, there is an alternate y available, with a straight-tailed descender.

The fonts numerals are the same height as the capital letters. Ulm Grotesk is named after the German city of Ulm. In the 1950s and 60s, a famous West German design school operated there. The Ulm School of Design was hailed as a successor to the Bauhaus, and it set important impulses for international graphic and product design.

These Ulm aftershocks were felt for the next several decades. The fonts are the work of the Paris-based type designer Ilya Naumoff.

Download Monarda Font Family From Monotype

Download Monarda Font Family From Monotype Monarda™ is Terrance Weinzierl’s take on the loud and splashy brush scripts of the 1950s. It’s energetic, playful, and equally at home in hardcopy headlines as it is in interactive banners. In addition to the basic alphabet, OpenType® fonts of Monarda are also awash in super-sized swash caps, contextual alternate characters and ligatures. Pair Monarda with a mid-century structural sans like Trade Gothic® or a sturdy slab serif like Egyptian Slate™ to create typographic counterpoint that’s confident, compelling and memorable! Named for a riotous bright red flower that attracts butterflies and humming birds, Monarda is a rare combination of flamboyance and effortless beauty. Weinzierl describes it as “casual yet precise: a stiff denim jacket or perfectly white sneakers at a formal event.” Monarda clearly stands out – and always fits in. Well, al...

Download Devoid Font Family From Dropper

Download Devoid Font Family From Dropper Devoid is a sans serif typeface with a no frills stripped down design. The design has all the features of the neo grotesk typeface, horizontally cut endings, modern capitals, oval counters, with a bare bones appearance. The typeface comes in three subtle widths, Devoid Slim, which is spaced most narrowly, Devoid and Devoid Set, which have a wider letterspacing. There are regular, medium and bold weights with accompanying italics. The vertical metrics align across weights and widths, this allows for optical size adjustment as well as adjusting for same size text fit. Dutch designer Pier Taylor designed the typeface in 2020 for use in catalogs, lists and registers. Download Bodoni Z37 Font Family From Typodermic

Download Bodoni Z37 Font Family From Typodermic Bodoni Z37 is a twenty-first century Didone typeface with a dynamic range of widths, weights and optical sizes. Stylistically, what really sets it apart from other typefaces in its category are flat sides and a geometric Deco style. Razor thin lines are captivating at large sizes but can be hard to deal with when you get really small. Rather than compromising, Bodoni Z37 was created with three optical sizes: Large (Bodoni Z37 L) with high contrast, fine lines and tight spacing Small (Bodoni Z37 S) with sturdy lines, more generous spacing Medium (Bodoni Z37 M) which is right in-between Bodoni Z37’s cute, curly italics have loose spacing for clarity and emphasis. Lining numerals are kerned and proportionally spaced. There are OpenType fractions, numeric ordinals and old-style (lowercase) numerals too. Almost all current Latin-based languages are supported as well as Greek and Cyrillic. Four weight...
